Costa.Co was founded by Mr Aleksandar Veselinovic, the famous designer of Ugly Duckling lures. Though the developmet of Ugly Duckling lures. Though the develeopment of Ugly Duckling lures, Aleksandar has made a lifetime commitment, to the process of lure manufacturing. Due to limited by state regulations and a transition economy by that time, he decided to leave Ugly Duckling and start his own company. This was achieved with his partner and lifelong friend Mr Slobodan Protic - distinguished businessman and passionate fisherman. After securing financial backing, the company started its life on October 10th, 2003.
Lure production started in June 2005 but only after a painstaking process of developing an original, yet classic range of lures. With more than 900 different products divided into three body shapes, several diving types and plenty of colours, Costa.Co began their ambitious project, with the support of their staff, all of whom were confident with their years of experience in the industy.
Once the size of the project began to take shape, another hard job had to be done - building a factory equipped with machinery, to build upon specific needs of this unique technology. A technology developed with the purpose of creating a new process in building balsa lures.
Our senior managment team at Costa.Co have combined several years of experience, to reach one goal and that is to be recognized globally, gor making lures unmatched by their competition, when it came to action, yet remaning devoted to the classic values of the industry.
The end result is a range of remarkable products, carefully designed, to take the maximum performance out of the balsa body, whic when added to take lifelike representation offers value even out of the water, just by looing at it!
